A New Way of Seeing (Pt. 2): Taking on an External Point of View

In this lecture, I briefly describe a way of seeing which philosophers have discussed, but which remains, within philosophy, an abstraction, and not something internalized and lived. I attempt to bring the results of theoretical work on the foundations of ethics down to a popular audience, and persuade them that we must work to adopt a different way of seeing–a way of seeing which reorients our way of considering things other than ourselves. Citations are not formatted precisely, because it is intended to be a lecture, not a paper.
